This is the second of a series on the implementation of the Batas Kasambahay. As a household employer, you would need to register with the Pag-Ibig Fund. You can go to www.pagibigfund.gov.ph and click on E-Services and register as employer via online.
In the online, registration, you will need to fill up all the data required. Take special note that in the Employer/Business Name you need to put "HH" before your name. This is to indicate that you are a household employer and hence, you are not subject to any penalty when paying Pag-Ibig contributions.
You would need to print the Employers' Data Form and take note of the tracking number.
After three (3) days, you can go back to the website and view your registration information and type in the tracking number to receive your Pag-Ibig Fund Employer Identification Number. This is the number you would use in your transactions and payments for your household helpers.
As for your helpers, you also need to register them. This too can be done on-line. This time you need to register them as employees and fill up all the data required. Take note of the tracking number which you would need to print out together with the Members' Data Form to receive the Pag-Ibig Fund Employee Identification Number. This number will be the number of your helper.
After printing out all the forms, you would need to submit the same to the nearest Pag-Ibig branch. There, you will be given the Member's Contribution Remittance Form so you could pay the corresponding contributions of your household helpers.
